1. Who is your favorite character in 2?
Peggy, without a doubt. She’s the best. Her and Don have both seen each other at their best and worst moments. Their relationship is so interesting to me.
2. Who is your least favorite character in
Leslie Knope.
3. What’s your favorite episode of 4?
What a fucking hard question. Conspiracy Theories and Interior Design and Remedial Chaos theory stick out for me. Watching those two for the first time was pretty mind blowing. There really aren’t any episodes of the show I don’t like.
4. What is your favorite season of 5?
I love all of this show, but if I have to pick… season one. I’ve been watching Fringe since the pilot aired. It’s been very exciting week to week watching the insane plotlines develop.
5. What’s your favorite relationship in 3?
Marshall and Lily. They remind me a lot of my wife and I.
6. Who is your anti relationship in 2?
Joan and Greg. He’s not that great to her, he’s boring and kind of a tool. She deserves better.
7. How long have you watched 1?
We started watching Park in August… I think. Since then we have watched it at least ten times all the way through. It’s my absolute favorite comedy of all time.
8. How did you become interested in 3?
After watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Freaks and Geeks, and Undeclared for the first time over a short period we figured it would make sense to see everything Jason Segal has done. The Hofmanns had been watching it and had good things to say.
9. Who is your favorite actor in 1?
Aziz Ansari. I want to be friends with him in real life.
10. Which show do you prefer 1, 2, or 5?
Parks and Recreation trump everything else.
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of? 1 or 3?
HIMYM has three more seasons and we have watched it all the way through three times or so… but that being said, we’ve surely spent more time watching Park than anything else.
12. If you could be anyone from 3 who would you be?
Robin. First order of business would be to dump Kal Penn and get him off the show.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1?
Shit. How would Leslie die? Maybe when the show was ending she could visit the finished pit park as the first female president… and then she’d slip and fall and a giant vat of whipped cream would fall on her, which at first would make her happy, but then she’d drown in the haze of a sugar high.
14. Would a 3/4 crossover work?
I can’t imagine any of the characters from HIMYM and Community being friends. I suppose both shows could exist in the same universe. Maybe if one of the people from Community studied child education they could student teach with Lily. Oh I suppose that Jeff and Marshall could have some kind of lawyer connection. Britta might see Marshall at an NRDC protest.
15. Pair two characters in 1 that would make an unlikely, but strangely okay couple:
Ron and Donna. Why not?
16. Over all, which show has a better cast, 3 or 5?
Fringe over HIMYM. John Noble as Walter may be one of the best characters in the past 20 years of TV.
17. Which show has a better soundtrack, 1, 4 or 5?
Park, Community or Fringe? Hmm… Walter has played some awesome music in the lab. Mouse Rat is a killer band. Getting Rid of Britta has been stuck in my head for weeks at a time. I call a three way tie.
