GPOY: I had a great interview today at Comedy Works. I really hope it works out.
GPOY: I just got called for an interview at Comedy Works edition. It would be better than the best news ever if I got this job.
So I’m currently working with my wife for a political fundraising call center. It’s pretty easy, but it’s far too reminiscent of everything I hated about at Sallie Mae. I just want a simple job where I can show up, do my job and leave. No goals or numbers to hit, no bullshit outbound calls, alsfdjlaskjdflaks;dfjals;
Don’t feel bad for me. My failures are my own fault. I’ve been unemployed far too long. It’s making it really hard for me to want to do something I hate.
My new Ript shirt. I’ve got compliments from three strangers in the last 15 minutes on it.

I fucking love this show. Did I mention that for the past month or so I’ve been watching the series from the beginning for the first time ever? I watched it from time to time when I was growing up and I saw all but Nemesis in the theater. It’s a weird thing where I feel like I’ve always been familiar with the characters but never realized how little of the show I had actually seen. I usually watch 2-3 episodes before going to sleep at night. The end.
Worst part about being vegan? It’s still really easy to eat a lot of sweets that are bad for you. I’ve put on almost 10 pounds in the past month or so.
For the foreseeable future:
No more Sweet Rush sorbet
No more orange juice
No more frying in peanut oil
No more soda
More walking
Less sitting

Garden of the Gods. This place is gods damned awesome.
I wish I could bottle up happiness and take sips of it every few hours. Unfortunately for me, I can’t get balanced out. I think I’ve spent too much time alone in the past year. I’m not the same person I once was. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.
My buddy Rob and I were supposed to do these costumes together, but he got too drunk or something and stayed in bed all day… which meant I got a lot of weird looks walking around by myself. I remember someone telling me my shirt was inappropriate. I was so happy when I found this guy walking around alone too. Man… I sorta miss my long hair.
At my first Dragon*Con in 2008 my friends and I did the Channel 4 News Team. Good gods I was a fat ass. It sure is nice to be 50lbs lighter now.
I’m such a nerd.
