July is going to be a lot to take in…
July 18th - The Dark Knight Rises
July 20th - The Dirty Projectors at the Bluebird Theater
July 21st - Aziz Ansari at the Paramount Theater
I could die happy on July 22nd.

Batman defeats all. Then makes a pose.
Best.
This looks like the opening tableau for a musical number.
I’d like to think it would be a very upbeat song with a depressing message about how Batman doesn’t want to fight or hurt anyone, but it’s the only way he can get the criminals rehabilitated.
YES. It can be titled “For Their Own Good”. And the criminals can have their own verses where they talk about how they do criminal stuff “for our own good” while they do box steps and jazz and then Batman can counter them by saying he’s fighting them “for their own good.”
KAPOW! The Batman Musical, written by Chris Baker and Celeste Monsour.
THIS. One of my favorite things about classic Batman is how incapable the police are. Maybe a song by Chief O’Hara where he realizes he once knew how to catch criminals before Batman was around. An introspective song where he questions his reasons to try in a world where Batman will always do a better job.
